Zentral in Fulda-City

Fulda lies on the A7 motorway with the Fulda-Nord, Fulda-Mitte and Fulda-Süd exits. Coming from Frankfurt/the A66, switch onto the A7 at the Fulda interchange and follow signs for the city centre. Petersgasse 2 is right in the heart of town, just north of the cathedral — once in the centre, use the cathedral and old town to orient yourself; the house is only a few streets away.

Fulda is an ICE rail stop. From the main station, Bahnhofstraße runs as a pedestrian axis straight into the centre — the house is about a five-minute walk away. City buses depart from the bus hub at the station.

From the apartment you're quickly on foot at the cathedral, the palace gardens and the pedestrian zone — Petersgasse 2 is a genuine city-centre address. If you want to explore Fulda on foot, you won't need a car.

Our recommendation: 20 of our own parking spaces directly at the house, bookable at €8 per day — subject to availability, and rare for central Fulda. Spaces are limited, so please request one with your booking.

If that's not enough, or you're arriving spontaneously, there are public alternatives within walking distance:

• Franzosenwäldchen car park — a public car park in the centre, around 95 spaces, chargeable Mon–Sat 8 am–6 pm, free on Sundays; day ticket €3 (in the rear section), mobile payment available, EV charging on site. A few minutes' walk from the house (Franzosenwäldchen is on the edge of the centre, ~250 m).
• Underground car parks around the cathedral — Q-Park Altstadt (Brauhausstraße 6), Q-Park Stadtschloss (Schlossstraße 1) and Q-Park Zentrum (Rabanusstraße 32), all open 24/7 with EV charging points and accessible spaces. Please check current tariffs on site.
