Frankfurter Straße

Fulda lies on the A7 motorway (Fulda-Nord, Fulda-Mitte, Fulda-Süd exits); coming from Frankfurt/the A66, join the A7 at the Fulda interchange. Handy to know: Frankfurter Straße is the B254 — via the Westring/Bronnzeller roundabout you can drive almost up to the door. Address: Frankfurter Straße 59, 36043 Fulda.

Fulda is an ICE rail stop. The house is about an eight-minute walk from the main station — roughly three minutes by car or bus. The location is quieter than the centre without losing the connection.

It's around 1.4 km to Fulda Cathedral and the city centre (about a 15–20 minute walk) — an easy walk or bike ride, with several bus lines nearby. A little outside the centre, but never cut off.

What we offer: 4 free parking spaces in the courtyard — first come, first served, unsupervised and available only while free (no guaranteed reservation). Allow a little buffer if you arrive at peak times.

Please note: do not park at the bus stop on the opposite side of the street — you risk a fine or being towed.

If the courtyard spaces are taken, the easiest option is on-street parking in the surrounding streets (mind the signs and parking zones on site). If you're arriving by train or heading into the centre anyway, you can also use the covered facilities at the main station (e.g. Richthalle, Esperanto) or the city-centre underground car parks around the cathedral (Q-Park Altstadt/Stadtschloss/Zentrum).
